About me...

Originally from Maryland, Bryan has been living and working in Miami for several years. Following his graduation from the University of Miami in 2017, where he studied both jazz performance and economics, Bryan has dedicated himself to performing, creating, and teaching music in the Miami area.

Always looking to learn and explore, Bryan has delved into many diverse styles of music ranging from jazz to bluegrass to death metal.  With his trio and quartet's he strives to find an organic melding of his eclectic inspirations that remains rooted in the jazz tradition.  These groups perform often in and around Miami, and studio recordings are on the horizon.

Bryan is a part of the duo American Darling Valve, with whom he has released an EP, several singles, and toured Florida and the south east.  He is also a member of The World Peace Ensemble and performed on their eponymous album, as well as concerts in both the United States and Germany.

Bryan is fortunate to have performed in venues both around the country and internationally.  He has performed at The Jalisco Jazz Festival (Mex), The Jazzkeller Frankfurt (Ger), The Monterey NGJF (CA), Eddie Owen Presents: Red Clay Music Foundry (GA), as well as local Miami haunts such as Lagniappe House, The Wynwood Yard, Le Chat Noir, NYSW Jazz Lounge, and more...

While not performing Bryan enjoys sharing his passion for, and knowledge of, music.  He teaches regular private lessons during the week, and holds a teaching position at the Community Arts Program (CAP).  Bryan has also taught as a guest in schools, as well as guitar and small ensemble masterclasses.
